RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF KAREN BARCH TO THE BASALT REGIONAL LIBRARY

RECITALS
1. Appointments to the Basalt Library Board must be ratified by the Pitkin County Board of County
Commissioners.
2. On September 15, 2016 an interview was conducted and the interview team (Eagle, Pitkin and
Town of Basalt) agreed to appoint Karen Barch to fill a Town of Basalt vacancy on the Basalt
Library Board.
4. This appointment is effective as of October 26, 2016
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County,
Colorado, to ratify the appointment of the following individual to the Basalt Regional Library Board of
Trustees.
Basalt Regional Library Term Expires
Karen Barch, Town of Basalt March 1, 2018
