COLORADO, PROVIDING FOR A SUPPLEMENTAL
APPROPRIATION TO THE 2017 BUDGET
RESOLUTION NO, 6 2017
RECITALS:
I Pursuant to Section 213 (Actions)of the Pitkin County. home Rule Charter
("HRC'}official action by formal resolution shall be required for a!1 actions of the
Board not requiring ordinaance power on matters of significant importance affecting
citizens.
2. Unanticipated grant retenues will be received in 2017 that were not appropriated.
and will be used to offset costs of the project for which they were collected;and
3. Upon due and proper notice,published in accordance with the law, said
supplemental budget was open for inspection by the public at a designated place.a
public hearing was held on April 26, 2017 and interested citizens were given an
opportunity to file or register any objections to said supplemental.
4. The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County to
approve this Resolution.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County. Colorado that adjustments be made to the 2017 budget as follows
