Pursuant to Subsection 4-30-50(i) of the Pitkin County Land Use Code, the Community Development Director of. Pitkin County, Colorado C Director") may administratively approve a :permit for special events. 2. Lorraine Ohanesian (hereafter, the "Applicant") has. applied to the Director for approval of a Special Event Permit to conduct a private party at 4300 Midnight Mine Road located in the Rural and Remote Zone .District. The event is proposed to be held on July 291x, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 4.00 PM. A maximum of 200 people will attend. 3: This application was referred to the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office, Pitkin County Regional Emergency Dispatch Center, Aspen Ambulance District, and Castle Caucus. Because the event will be private, no Liquor License will be required. 4. The Director finds that, to the extent applicable; the application complies with the standards in Subsection 4-30.50(i) of the Land Use Code. THE <DIRECTOR HEREBY APPROVES the Special Event Permit for the 2017 Aspen Blow Party subject to Applicant's compliance with each of the following conditions: 1. All material representations made by the Applicant in the application (which shall specifically include representations made in all related supporting documents, correspondence subsequently provided by the Applicants, and representationsmade by phone), shall be adhered to,, and considered conditions of approval, unless superseded by specific conditions in this Determination. F 2. The Applicants must demonstrate possession of applicable permits at all times during the permitted activity and present such permits upon request. 3. The Applicant shall indemnify and hold harmless the County of Pitkin, Colorado, officers, employees and agents from and against all liability, claims and demands on account of injury, or loss or damage; including .without limitation claims arising from bodily injury, personal injury, sickness, disease, death, property loss or damage, or any other loss of any kind whatsoever, which arise from or are in any manner connected with the applicant's activities pursuant to this permit if such injury,. loss, or damage is caused in while or in part by the act, omission, error, professional error, mistake, negligence or other fault of applicant, its contractor or sub -contractor, guests, participants, volunteers or any other: individual or entity involved or associated with the special event. The Applicant shall also investigate, handle, respond to, and to provide defense from and defend against any such liability, claims or demands at its sole expense. The Applicant shall procure and maintain at its own cost, a pol icy or policies of insurance sufficient to ensure against all liability claims, demands or other obligations assumed by the applicant pursuant. to this Paragraph 3, The applicant shall further release Pitkin County., its officers, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, or actions or causes of actions whatsoever arising from any damage, loss or injury to the applicant or the applicant's property, roads, roadsides, roadeasements, or right of way. 4. The Applicant shall assume all financial responsibilities in the event search and rescue is needed. 5. The applicant has committed to guests carpooling and will provide a shuttle from the Gondola to the site. No event parking shall occur on Pitkin County roads and all emergency accesses shall remain open_ 6. Number of attendees shall not exceed 200 people at any one time. 7. Tents and structures shall not exceed I,000 square feet in size. 8. The event shall comply with County noise regulations that limits noise to 55 di3A measured at the property line. 9. Any damage to the county road and native vegetation shall be repaired within two weeks of the completion of the event at the expense of the applicant, 12.
