The four holes perc rates worked out to 20 minutes per the inch on
three of them and 26 minutes per the inch on the fourth, requiring 220-225
sq. ft. per bedroom. I feel that I am in the position to issue a permit.
Here again we're using a long effluent run to get down onto a flatter piece of
ground with much more suitable soil. I paced off the distance to the adjacent
property well. It appears to be 120 feet from the property line and should
not create any problem. It's also about 115-120 feet away from the well on
this property, the well being shared with the property adjacent, which hasn't
been built on. It looks like somewhere in the neighborhood of a 10 foot cut
would do this quite well. I asked them to place the septic tank much further
uphill and close to the house.
