A visit to the site was conducted on June 2, 2008 by Nancy MacKenzie. The Environmental Health & Natural Resources Department (EH/NR) has reviewed the details of the White Plains Radiology application under the authority of the Pitkin County Land Use Code and has the following comments. ADEQUATE PROVISION FOR WATER NEEDS: Lots in this area are typically served by the Brush Creek Metropolitan District. Before this Department can issue an onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) permit, the applicant must provide a letter from the District verifying that this lot will be able to tap into the community water system and obtain an adequate water supply. SEWAGE TREATMENT: This lot is constrained by slopes and possibly poor soils. At Site Plan review the applicant must demonstrate that the site can accommodate an OWTS that complies with the then current OWTS Regulation. Printed on Recycled Paper
