This letter is being written at your request to document the status and history of
the duck pond in the 740 and 750 Coyote, lots: The pond is in full compliance
with Environmental Health Department regulations including required setbacks
from individual sewage disposal systems, as far as we are aware.
I remember the owners coming to talk to me before installing the pond, to make
sure it would not be too close to any septic systems and would not cause any
problems for these systems. I assured them that; .based on our maps, their pond
would be more than far enough from any septic systems and that we had no
concerns about installation of the pond. If you have further questions, please feel

DRAINAGE AND EROSION CONTROL PLAN
THE POND LOCATED ON LOTS 740 AND 750 COYOTE ROAD,
W/J RANGH HAS NO LINER. THE SOIL CONTENT HAS A MAJORITY
OF CLAY IN IT, THUS IT IS VERY DENSE. DURING THE SUMMER OF
1995 THE POND LOST APPROXIMATELY 1-2 INCHES OF WATER
PER DAY DUE TO NATURAL DRAINAGE AND EVAPORATION.
THE POND HAS NO EROSION PROBLEM, THE SIDES ARE BEEFED
UP WITH ADDITIONAL SAND BROUGHT IN AND DISTRIBUTED
AROUND THE EDGES.
AERATION PLAN
AS DISCUSSED IN THE LETTER FROM LIZ TREADWELL DATED
OCTOBER 11, 1995 TO THE ARG IN REGARDS TO AERATION OF
THE POND:
THERE IS AN ATTACHMENT IRRIGATION STREAM
THAT FLOWS FROM A PASTURE ABOVE THE POND
INTO THE POND. THIS IS ABOUT 4-0 INCHES IN
DIAMETER WHICH KEEPS FRESH WATER FLOWING
INTO THE POND, IT REPLACES THE MINIMAL AMOUNT
OF WATER LOSS PER DAY (SEE DRAINAGE). THERE
IS A PUMP USED IN THE SUMMER THAT PUMPS THE
POND WATER.
LEACH FIELD
PLEASE SEE THE DIAGRAM FOR LOCATION OF THE LEACH FIELD
RELATIVE TO THE POND. COUNTY REGULATIONS REQUIRE THAT
THE LEACH FIELD BE 50 FEET FROM THE POND. UNIT 750 IS 55
FEET FROM LEACHFIELD TO POND. UNIT 740 IS OVER TWICE
THAT DISTANCE.
