Carla,
This morning I submitted for pian check a small porch addition project. The only
issue regarding Environmental Health Dept. was whether the porch would
impact the existing septic tanks/sytstem. I provided the Building Dept. with a
copy of the existing system diagram, 1 obtained from Matt, showing the location
of the system would not be impacted by the new work. However, they still
want sign -off from your department. Attached is a copy of a drawing showing
the relationship between the existing house, the new porch addition and the
existing septic system. Also attached is a copy of the existing system diagram
from your files. Please let me know if this information allows you to sign -off on
the permit.
