At the request of Jim Ford, this department has reviewed the
septic system records of the referenced property. The remodeling
of this house into a two-bedroom structure should not require any
modifications to the septic system. As we understand, the plans
recently submitted to your office show only a master bedroom and
a guest bedroom. According to the attached permit, the onsite
wastewater disposal system was replaced in 1974, and was origin-
ally sized to accommodate the flow from a three-bedroom house.
The system continues to function satisfactorily and with the
anticipated reduction in hydraulic loading, no changes or
alterations to the septic system are required by code.
