You were to submit a pumping report on the septic tank and also verify that both compartments of the tank were accessible. Just a reminder that we need the records indicating that the septic tank was pumped (and therefore accessible) before CO. Nancy T1.so10-7 tell 11/28/2005 Nancy Mackenzie To: Doug Rager Subject: RE: Miller Residence Doug, 1) We need to have for our files a floor plan of the existing house and the remodel, to document that there are no additional bedrooms in the house since the septic permit was issued. A small set of just the floor plan is adequate. It just has to be readable. (We keep separate files from the Building Dept.) Once this is verified, we could signoff on the issuance of the Building Permit. 2) We have an un-finaled Septic permit for this property. From the file it appears that risers, to bring tha access of the two tank compartments up to finish grade, were never installed. The system is 16 years old. We would need a pumping report on the tank and confirmation from the pumper that he was able to access both compartments of the tank. We would need to have this information before CO. There are no additional bedrooms included in the permit application and as the house is not very old we have not planned for septic system modifications. The owner signed a wavier for your department. Have you had a chance to review this permit application? It has passed Zoning and Plan Check.
