ASPEN*PITKIN ENVIRuNMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT May 19, 1992 Mr. Peter Adu Colorado National Mortgage Co. 950 17th Street - Suite 2300 Denver, Colorado 80202 RE: Lot 4, Block 3, Filing II, Little Elk Creek Subdivis on known and numbered as 0140 Alexander Ave. Dear Mr. Adu: Today this department conducted a reinspection of the referenced property, owned by Mr. and Mrs. David Marlow, for the purpose of inspecting improvements to the on-site wastewater disposal system serving the existing dwelling. The inspection was done at the owners' request. The current on-site sewage disposal permit calls for an addition to the existing the sewage disposal system which consists of a 1000 -gallon concrete septic tank and 2695 square feet of engineered evapotranspiration bed area constructed in 1977. The individual sewage disposal permit, enclosed, indicates that the design engineer has specified an overflow tank/pumping chamber and a mound system. The first portion of the construction, the tank installation, is completed and we have approved the construction of the connections and the installation of the tank. A visual inspection of the premises revealed that the sewage system is again functioning satisfactorily. The ponding of water on a section of the bed and the excessive amount of wastewater standing in the vent and inspection ports, as noted earlier, have been corrected with the overflow tank installation.
