The existing 1,635 sq ft absorption field is sized adequately for 4 bedrooms. The existing `game' room is not considered a potential bedroom for septic sizing only as long as this room is part of the passage into other rooms. The owner has choosen to add a 1250 gallon tank in series in front of the existing 1,000 gallons tank for a total capacity of 2,250 gallons. If approval takes longer than 6 hours, a rate of $100 per hour will be charged. The maximum fee is $1000. The basic fee of $600 is due at the time of application. The remainder, if any, will be due in two stages: first, at the time of issuance of the ISDS permit; second, before final approval of the ISDS permit.
