I am sending you our form to clarify what our department requires
before we can issue the septic permit.
Please note to include the following:
1) The depth of the perc hole in inches. (The holes I
inspected on July 1, 1993 were approximately 1 ft, 2 ft, and
2 ft. deep. Is this correct?)
2) Certify the test by signing and stamping with an engineer
stamp.
3) The well location is to be indicated on the site plan. It
is my understanding that the well location has not been
finalized.
4) Clarify the depth and location of the profile hole. (On
my site inspection on July 1, 1993, I could find no profile
hole.)
5) What type of engineered system are you designing ?

He was consulted on the double wide trenches and he has no
concerns and will sign off on them. But modifications will
have to be made to have a "T" not a "Y" to each double trench
system.
He said that the tanks were line, coated to make them water
proof and he was not concerned with their proximity. We could
have him fill inbetween with clay or put in a plastic barier
inbetween the tanks.
