Looking at our setback chart, which can be found by this link on page 20, setbacks from the vault are as follows.
10' from vault to water line
50' to creek
25' to cistern (I would say a cistern and holding tank would be the same for our purposes)
5' to the building
Is there a crawl space under the plant? If so, I would think replumbing the toilet/sink would not be a huge deal since we would need
to place the tank somewhere near the front of the plant in order to meet the 50' setback to the creek.

Subject: Nettle Creek Water Treatment Plant
Hi Michael,
I have been working on an improvement to the Town of Carbondale Nettle Creek Water Treatment plant. We are
in the process of selecting a contractor to remodel the old portion of the plant and make a laboratory area. We
are also intending to upgrade a waste water holding tank adjacent to the building.
I am in the process of updating the Forest Service permit to reflect these changes, primarily the holding tank.
Their approval is contingent on the approval of the local authorities.
The parcel ID # is 2649-104
Most recent past submission I have found is #P43-94
Legal description is T9S, R88W Sec 10, NW1/4
I would like to discuss this with you and determine what needs to be done to comply with the County and the
Forest Service.
