PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL AGENDA
POSTING PLACE FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2018
RESOLUTION NO. O04/ -2018
RECITALS:
1 Pursuant to Section 2.8.4(Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter
("I IRC"), all matters not required to he acted upon by ordinance or formal
resolution may be acted upon by informal resolution.
2. Pursuant to C R.S. 24-6-402, meeting notices must be posted in a designated public
place within the boundaries of the local public body no less than twenty-four hours
prior to the holding of the meeting. Further, it requires that the designated posting
place be identified each year.
3. The current designated public place for posting meeting notices is the agenda
bulletin board in the main floor lobby of the Pitkin County Courthouse located at
506 East Main Street, Aspen, Colorado
4. The Pitkin County Administration and Sheriffs Building located at 530 East Main
Street, Aspen, Colorado is currently under construction. Therefore, the Board of
County Commissioners has determined that it is in the best interest of the citizens of
Pitkin County to continue to post the meeting notices in the main lobby of the Pitkin
County Courthouse for the calendar year 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado that it approves a Resolution Designating the Official Agenda
Posting Place for 2018 and authorizes the Chair to sign on behalf of the county.
