RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF PITKIN COUNTY COLORADO GRANTING APPROVAL TO THE
REDSTONE WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT TO AMEND THE
DISTRICT'S SPECIAL REVIEW APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT A 300,000
GALLON WATER TANK
RESOLUTION NO. 96 :� 0
Recitals
1. The Redstone Water and Sanitation District (hereafter "applicant") has applied to the
Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado (hereafter "Board"), for
approval to amend the conditions of the Board's Resolution No. 95-73 as they
required burial of the Water Storage Tank.
2. The tank site is located approximately one mile south of Redstone and is described on
Exhibit "A" attached.
3. The proposed amendment to this application is to allow the partial exposure of the
Water Tank which was originally approved as being completely buried, in part, to
mitigate visual impacts as seen from State Highway 133.
4. The Board heard this amendment_ application at a duly noticed and regularly
scheduled Public Hearing on November 6, 1996, at which time evidence and testing
was presented.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board that it hereby approves an
Amendment to the Special Review Approval for the Redstone Water Tank subject to the
following conditions:
1. The final landscaping for the tank shall be performed in accordance with the approved
landscape plan (Exhibit `B" attached).
2. The applicant shall provide a financial performance guarantee to insure the
completion of the approved landscape plan in a form and amount acceptable to the
County Attorney within 30 days of the date of this approval.

3. Except as amended herein, the applicant shall continue to abide by the conditions of
Board Resolution No. 95-73, recorded at Book 780, Page 306.

meeting on the 6th day of November, 1996.

day of October, 1996.
