I have been asked by the owners of this property to review the landscape and make recommendations for tree pruning and removal. I have attached a map of the property as well as pictures of every tree being removed. Below is a description for each tree. There are associated numbers in the bottom left hand corner of each photograph that correlates to the descriptions. 1- 7.5 inch Austrian Pine This tree is very poorly foliated and is being overwhelmed by the adjacent trees. Because this tree is on the North side of other trees it is being out competed. Note carefully in the photo the browning of needles and total branch dieback. In my opinion this tree is in serious stress and should be removed to allow for a healthier landscape. 11 inch Lodgepole Pine Showing signs of stress from wildlife damage at the trunk, 3 feet from ground level. This tree is succumbing to the damage as well as being outcompeted by the surrounding trees. Tree is very thinly foliated and is not a vigorous individual. I am afraid this tree may be a target for Mountain Pine Beetle and should be removed. 3- Co -Dominant 8 inch Aspen This 2 stem tree used to have 4 stems that have been removed in the past. Now there are wood decay fungi at the base. Also the trees are growing over top of old stump cuts. This indicates the tree is compromised at the base and may lead to whole tree failure. Notice proximity of sitting area and home in background. F1 12 inch single stem Aspen Tree is suffering from Ganoderma and should be removed immediately. Single stem 7 inch Aspen next to home This tree is about 4 inches from the home near the roofline. The single stem is to be removed and the larger stem be maintained and pruned. I am afraid this tree is too close to the house and will be touching the home in very near future. cau11J SEP 3 0 2015 G000mveyewment 6- Single stem 8 inch Gambel Oak Tree is lacking vigor on North side of planted spruce. Tree is very poorly foliated and in turf area. Tree will not survive much longer with improper irrigation. 014x•72015 VACJf'1 ;' Pitkin Maps & More MY Pitldn Maps & More Map Created on 12:53 PM 09/16115 at hHp:/Awxi.pigclnmepsantlmore.com area o maul Nee P..1 THIS MAP IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES.
