We found the water level in the profile hole at5 1/2 feet from the surface of the ground, and there was about a foot and a half of water in the hole. We discussed alternatives, and I think Roger will come up with an e-t bed. There is a Cavitette plant on the site. He related the owners concern about the excessive number of air vents provided. I agreed that the number could be reduced to seven, strategically located in the E.T. field. I also advised Ruggles that C.I.P. would be required on the inlet and outlet side of the aeration unit. He asked me if I had speci- fied a particular brand of aeration unit and I said I had not and that any brand on the Pitkin County accepted list was acceptable to me.
