The two existing 1000 -gallon tanks must be properly abandoned or removed. They will be replaced with two 1500 - gallon tanks — or a combination of tanks that provide 3000 gallons of capacity. There must be an effluent filter on the outlet of the last tank. The first compartment must be at least as large as the second compartment. This department does not endorse any brand of products. The maximum fee is $1000. The basic fee of $600 is due at the time of application. The remainder, if any, will be due in two stages: first, at the time of issuance of the ISDS permit; second, before final approval of the ISDS permit. It is important that the first tank is at least as big as the second. am unaware if groundwater is an issue on this site. If you find you are installing the tanks in groundwater, proper anchoring will be necessary. If you have any questions regarding this permit, please give me a call.
