Box 4230 Aspen, Colorado 81612 RE: A 5.098 acre parcel of land located in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 3, Township 10 South, Range 85 West of the 6th P. M., known and numbered as 1183 Aspen Oak Drive Dear Norm: On October 30, 1986, this department conducted a site inspection of the referenced property, owned by you, for the purpose of evaluating the onsite wastewater disposal and water supply systems serving the existing dwelling. The inspection was done at your request. This letter represents our best opinion of the suitability and current compliance of both the sewage disposal and water systems with local and state public health codes and accepted sanitary practices. A review of our office records indicates that the sewage disposal system consists of a 750 gallon concrete septic tank and 500 square feet of seepage bed absorption area constructed in 1973. This department inspected and approved the construction of this system before it was placed in operation. A copy of the individual sewage disposal permit is enclosed. A visual inspec- tion of the premises indicated that the sewage system is appar- ently functioning satisfactorily at this time. Water to this residence is supplied from a well. An inspection of this source revealed that it was properly construc- ted and located a sufficient distance from sources of contamin- ation. A sample of the drinking water was collected at the time of the inspection and analyzed at the certified laboratory of the Snowmass Water and Sanitation District for microbiological contaminant levels. A report of this test is enclosed and indicates that the number of coliform bacteria in the 100 milliliter sample does not exceed counts established as accep- table in -the Colorado Department of Health _Primary Drinking Water Regulations. If you have any further questions regarding this letter, please call. Respectfully submi e Robert F.
