I said he could go ahead and backfill as long as you gave your OK. I was looking, and I can't find if he is licensed. Can you check with him?? If not, he'll just need to come go online to get the test - take it - and come in and register as a licensed contractor. He can call Kristen if he has questions. It didn't occur to me until I was off the phone with him. Also, don't forget about GPS coordinates on any as -built under our new regs. Thanks!! The residence has 3 -bedrooms and less than 6000 SF of living area. The existing tank was properly abandoned and hauled away to an appropriate location. All compromised soils were removed prior to placement of new tank. We observed a 1250 -gallon, two-compartment, plastic FraloTM septic tank. There was an OrencoTM effluent filter in the second compartment. The tank was exposed during our observation. Risers were present for all compartments. A PVC tee and inlet pipe was present. The septic tank should be pumped every two to three years, and the tees inspected. The effluent filter should be cleaned as needed. A high water alarm may be added at homeowners request. LIMITS: The design is based on information submitted. If conditions on site are different from conditions assumed in report, ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified. All OWS construction must be according to the county regulations. Requirements not specified in this report must follow county regulations. The installer should have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working. This design for the subject property, noted above, is valid only in conjunction with the approved County Health Department permit. Onsite Wastewater Systems Page 2 Please call with questions. The owner has requested the septic tank be upgraded to current regulations, and be oversized based on number of bedrooms. The 4 -bedroom residence currently utilizes a conventional onsite wastewater system located down gradient of the residence. The drain field is served by a septic tank that appears to have lost some integrity and is in moderate condition. A 1250 -gallon, two-compartment FRALOTM septic tank, with an inlet tee and an effluent filter on the outlet should be installed. The septic tank will be located in the same vicinity of the existing tank. The existing septic tank should be properly abandoned. Proper FRALOTM risers and lids must be installed. See attached drawing. During tank installation the PVC sewer pipe connecting the septic tank and the drain field may be observed and condition verified. A camera may be directed through the sewer pipe and into the drain field, to observe conditions. Our office should be contacted to observe this. The septic tank should be pumped every two to three years, and the tees inspected. The effluent filter should be cleaned as needed. A high water alarm may be added at homeowners request. INSTALLATION OBSERVATIONS ALL SERVICE septic, LLC, and the county may view the septic tank installation during construction. The observation should be performed before backfill, after placement tank. Septic tanks, distribution devices, pumps, dosing siphons, and other plumbing, as applicable, must also be observed. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified 48 hours in advance to observe the installation. SO LIMITS: ""ai Onsite Wastewater Systems The design is based on information submitted.
