COMMISSIONERS ('BOCC') OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO,
PROVIDING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE 2018 BUDGET
AND AMENDING THE 2018 BUDGET FOR THE ACQUISITION OF
PHILLIPS MOBILE HOME PARK AND RELATED EXPENDITURES
RESOLUTION NO. 65/3 , 2018
RECITALS:
1) Pursuant to Section 2.8.3 (Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter("HRC")official action
by formal resolution shall be required for all actions of the Board not requiring ordinance power on
matters of significant importance affecting citizens; and
2) Pitkin County desires to amend its 2018 budget and approve supplemental budget appropriations
from the funds set forth in this Resolution in order to fund unanticipated but necessary operating
expenditures and capital outlay; and
3) Unappropriated fund balance (reserves and prior year savings) is available and adequate to cover
the new appropriations; and
3) Upon due and proper notice, published in accordance with the law,said supplemental budget was
open for inspection by the public at a designated place, a public hearing was held on March 14, 2018
and interested citizens were given an opportunity to file or register any objections to said
supplemental budget.
4) The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County to approve this
Resolution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County,
Colorado that it hereby adopts a resolution providing supplemental appropriations to the 2018 budget
and amending the 2018 budget as shown below and authorizes the Chair to sign the Resolution upon
the satisfaction of the County Attorney as to form, execute any other associated documents necessary
to complete this matter.
