COMMISSIONERS (`BOCC") OF PITKIN COUNTY,
COLORADO,DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL
AGENDA POSTING PLACE FOR THE CALENDAR
YEAR 2019
RESOLUTION NO. 00- -2019
RECITALS:
I. Pursuant to Section 2.8,4(Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter
("HRC"), all matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution
may be acted upon by informal resolution.
2. Pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402, meeting notices must be posted in a designated public
place within the boundaries of the local public body no less than twenty-four hours
prior to the holding of the meeting. Further, it requires that the designated posting
place be identified each year.
3. The designated public place for posting notices has been the bulletin board in the
main floor lobby of the Pitkin County Courthouse located at 506 East Main Street,
Aspen,Colorado.
4. The Pitkin County Administration and Sheriff's Building located at 530 East Main
Street, Aspen, Colorado has been constructed and occupies several public county
offices as well as the BOCC and other meeting rooms.
5. The BOCC has determined that it is in the best interest of the citizens of Pitkin
County to post meeting notices on the bulletin board in the main lobby of the
Administration and Sheriffs Building for the calendar year 2019.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County,Colorado that it approves a Resolution Designating the Official Agenda
Posting Place for the Calendar Year 2019 and authorizes the Chair to sign on behalf of the
county.
