The Provision of Solid Waste Center Aggregate Crushing and Processing Services (the
“Contract”) dated May 11, 2017 between the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County,
Colorado (the “County”) and 3B Enterprises, LLC (the “Contractor”), is hereby amended as
follows:
Description of Change:
Pitkin County has elected to renew the Solid Waste Center Aggregate Crushing and Processing
Services contract with 3B Enterprises, which expired on July 31, 2018. Per the terms of the
contract it states that, “At the expiration of the initial term, the contract may be extended for four
(4) additional terms of one (1) year by the express written consent of both parties. This extension
is the second additional term.
If the renewal of this contract is agreeable to 3B Enterprises, please sign this letter in the space
provided below and return it, along with a current copy of your certificate of insurance, naming
Pitkin County as additionally insured on the Certificate as required. Pitkin County hereby
authorized the renewal of Contract # 126.2017 with 3B Enterprises, for a period of one (1) year
from contract expiration date; new expiration date is now March 31, 2020.
This Change Order increases the overall Contract value by $300,000.00 for use in the renewal
term spanning 8/1/2018 to 7/31/2019.

Change in concrete crushing from ¾” to 6” D50 Rip Rap.
Pricing updates as follows:
Mobilization - $10,000
Processing - $7.50/Ton
6” D50 Rip Rap - $7.00/Ton
¾” Road Base, 3” Road Base, 7/8” Screened Rock - $9.00/Ton
Asphalt to 1” minus - $9.00/Ton
All other rates to remain the same.
Reason for Change:

Re: concrete and pit run crushing:
Phase 1:
1) Mobe and demobe to landfill $10,000.
2) Process concrete with excavator equipped with concrete muncher, excavator and loader approx. 8000 tons
of raw concrete waste material into concrete with metal and trash removed $7.50 per ton.
Phase 2:
1) Set up crush and size approx. 8000 tons of concrete into 6” D50 rip rap $7.00 per ton.
2) Crush approx. 11,000 tons of pit run material into ¾” road base, 3” road base and 7/8” screened rock -
$9.00 per ton.
3) Crush asphalt on site into 1” minus material - $9.00 per ton.
Notes:
1) Pitkin County will provide onsite water for dust suppression.
