A work-session agenda is structured to give the Board of Commissioners an opportunity to touch base with each other,staff,and
invited community members and organizations to discuss and work through issues the County is facing,but not ready to take official
action on at a regular board meeting. Work sessions are open to the public(with exception of executive session). However,public
input is typically not taken during a work session unless specifically asked for by the Board.

PITKIN COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
SPECIAL MEETING

CALL TO ORDER: Chair Poschman called a special meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners to order at 2:30 p.m.
COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Greg Poschman, Chair, Steve Child,
George Newman, Patti Clapper and Kelly McNicholas Kury
COMMISSION MEMBERS ABSENT: None
Action: Commissioner Clapper moved to convene a Special Meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners. Commissioner Child seconded the motion. Motion passed with five yea votes.
Special Event Liquor License Application Submitted by the Farm Collaborative—Motion to
approve.
Staff Person: Jeanette Jones, Clerk to the Board
Action: Commissioner Child moved approval of a Special Event Liquor License submitted by
the Farm Collaborative with a condition that all liquor be served by a tips trained individual
working for the catering service. Commissioner McNicholas Kury seconded the motion.
Motion passed with five yea votes.
ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Clapper moved to adjourn the special meeting at 2:50 p.m.
Commissioner Child seconded the motion. Motion passed with five yea votes.
