PITICINN COUNTY, COLORADO, APPOINTING A CITIZEN BOARD MEMBER
RESOLUTION NO. C�4j -2020
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 2.8.4 (Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter
("HRC"), all matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may
be acted upon by informal resolution, and
WHEREAS, Christina King resigned from the Board of Health due to a change in residence
outside of Pitkin County;
WHEREAS, The Board of Health agreed to move Linda Vieira from At -large, alternate to
At —large, regular to fill the vacancy left by Christina's resignation;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners wishes to make the following
appointment to the following board;

Linda Vieira, Board of health (At -large regular) April 1, 2023
WHEREAS, Volunteer Citizen Boards are established per the Home Rule Charter and State
Statute;
WHEREAS, The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County
to approve this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado that it hereby adopts a Resolution Appointing Citizen Board
Members and authorizes the Chair to sign the Resolution and execute any other associated
documents necessary to complete this natter,
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED ON THE 24`x' DAY OF June, 2020.
