Contractor’s Obligations. Contractor shall provide survey of Watson Divide Road and Bridge at Snowmass Creek as well as Maroon Creek Road per the attached SOW. Final deliverables are DWG and XML files for each surface in use in design work. 2. Compensation and Expenses, Invoicing, Payment and Offset. The County shall compensate Contractor for its services in accordance with the Project Budget and Schedule set out in Paragraph 1 of this Task Order. It is expressly understood and agreed that in no event will the total compensation and reimbursement to be paid hereunder exceed the sum of twenty-one thousand dollars and zero cents ($21,000.00) for all services rendered. By Task Order or Task Order Amendment, the County and Contractor may reallocate the budget among project tasks if the total budget amount remains unchanged. Contractor shall invoice for the project monthly based on hours worked, with payment expected within thirty (30) days of invoice, but any payment by the County may be offset by any amount the Contractor owes the County for any reason. Any invoices not sent in the following manner may have payment delayed. All invoices for this Task Order shall reference Task Order B-1 and 2020 Paving Project Survey. Pitkin County shall administer this contract through a County Representative. Chris Baroody, Project Engineer will manage the project as the County’s Representative. The services provided and products delivered by the Contractor under this contract will be subject to review by the County’s Representatives, or a designee, for compliance with Contractor’s obligations prior to final payment. 4. Formation of Task Order. This Task Order is issued in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement. Contractor agrees to provide services subject to the terms of this Task Order and for the avoidance of doubt this Task Order consists of the terms set out in the Agreement. Contractor’s Obligations. A. Project Description This project consists of the following survey tasks associated with Pitkin County Public Works 2020 Countywide Paving Project. The tasks outlined below are referenced directly from the email dated 2/18/20 from Chris Baroody to Mike Fowler, as well as the Pitkin County Public Works Highway Construction for Plans of Proposed 2020 Countywide Paving Project Bid Plans dated February 20, 2020. B. Work Plan Watson Divide Road and Bridge at Snowmass Creek Existing topo survey of the bridge deck and approaches include centerline grade, edge of pavements, edge of shoulders and pavement on existing bridge deck. The survey should also include top of bridge curb, exposed concrete deck and abutments, location of scuppers, etc. Additionally, edge of pavement from the turn lane at the intersection west to Snowmass Creek Road. Watson Divide Road and Bridge at Snowmass Creek Total Cost Estimate: $5,160 Maroon Creek Road Task 1. Existing topo survey of approximately 4500-feet of Maroon Creek Road from Station 101+00 to 144+00. The backbone survey would include edge of pavements, edge of curb, edge of shoulders, pavement markings of existing centerline and turn lanes and any visual grade breaks in the roadway section. The backbone survey shall be performed has been shown at intervals of approximately 25'. Task Cost Estimate: $11,380 Pitkin County On-Call Engineering Services Master Service Agreement #: 002.20 2 Task 2. Full topographic survey of both sides of Maroon Creek Road from Station 129+00 to 134+00 including EOP, EOS, existing curb and guardrails, utilities, bus stop structure, trees, culvert inverts, etc. where we are proposing to add curb and gutter and concrete paving for a bus pull-off on the east edge of roadway. Task Cost Estimate: $2,790 Task 3. Traffic control for existing survey of Maroon Creek Road can be limited to one day. We assume construction staking will be performed under the Contractor's traffic control which SGM will coordinate with. Task Cost Estimate: $1,500 Maroon Creek Road Total Cost Estimate: $15,760 C. Deliverables Deliverables for each site include a Civil3d DWG with surfaces available as XML files for use in design. D. Schedule Currently we estimate we could have the existing conditions portions of the tasks above completed within 2 weeks of receiving notice to proceed, assuming there are no field conditions that arise that keep us from performing this work in a timely manner. This estimate assumes coordination with utility companies will be the responsibility of Pitkin county. E. Exclusions and Limitations Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigation is not included. Utility coordination to be performed by Pitkin County 2. Compensation and Expenses.
