COMMISSIONERS EXTENDING THE TIME PERIOD FOR THE REVIEW OF
THE HOLY CROSS ENERGY BRUSH CREEK 115 KV TRANSMISSION LINE

RECITALS
1. The Pitkin County Board of County Commissioner (hereinafter BOCC) held a
public hearing on June 12,2003 and met with the Town of SnoWmass Village
trusteeS (TOSV) on in order to discuss the Holy Cross energy application and the
cost issues associated with the under grounding of the proposed transmission line.
2. The BOCC directed staffto continue the public hearing to June 26,2003;
3. The BOCC and the TOSV trustees directed staff to work together to formulate a
mutual agreement regarding the payment of underground costs at which time the
elected officials will reconvene in order to adopt the agreements pursuant to their
respective jurisdictions.
4. It was recognized by the BOCC that additional time may be required in order to
reach such an agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE PITKIN COUNTY
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS acknowledge that the time period
within which the BOCC is required to take final local government action, as
described in C.R.S.29-20-108(2) is hereby extended to August 1, 2003 subject to the
applicants consent to this Resolution.
