PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO,APPOINTING CITIZEN BOARD MEMBERS
RESOLUTION NO. 056-2021
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 2.8.4 (Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter
("HRC"), all matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may
be acted upon by informal resolution, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners completed interviews for the Aspen
Pitkin County Housing Authority(APCHA) Board, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners discussed and agreed on this
appointment at the August 24, 2021 Work Session, and;
WHEREAS, This is a joint appointment by City of Aspen and Pitkin County and the City of
Aspen will meet on August 31, 2021 to make this same appointment by resolution, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners wishes to make the following
appointment to the following board;

WHEREAS, The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County
to approve this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado that it hereby adopts a Resolution of the Board of County
Commissioners ("BOCC") of Pitkin County, Colorado, Appointing Citizen Board Members
and authorizes the Chair to sign the Resolution and execute any other associated documents
necessary to complete this matter.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED ON THE 25TH DAY OF AUGUST 2021.
