Thank you for considering our additional services request #7 for Phase 3 of construction. o w Based on our understanding of this additional scope we have attached several o documents: w • This Scope and Fee Memo, dated 11/12/21 11/29/21 a • Fee Spreadsheet, dated 11/12/21 11/29/21 ° • Understanding of Phase Scope, dated 6/8/2020 w w Our fee is based on the following assumptions: • Construction administration (RFI responses, Submittal Reviews) for the w w Phase 3 Scope as shown on the attached floor plans. • This assumes construction start in March 2022, with a 6-month or less o construction duration. • 6 Site visits for Anderson Hallas, 2 site visits for each consultant discipline. Additional site visits can be provided on a time and materials co basis. M • Biweekly OAC calls/virtual meetings prior to start of construction co (assumed 1-Q 12 total). Weekly OACs during construction (assumed 30 0 total). • 1 Punch walk for each discipline. • Design Changes are limited to the following and will be submitted as change orders for the existing permit to the City of Aspen. No change in building codes is anticipated. o Converting Attorney room 207 to an In-custody restroom. w o Full roof replacement of the main TPO roof, and mansard roofs no work is anticipated for the mansard roofs or the lower dormer roofs. No change to roof drainage is anticipated. Provide Chimney caps at abandoned chimney locations. o Waterproofing for the tower - this is not intended to be a full 0 restoration of the tower, but a short-term solution to remedy water infiltration. No structural scope is anticipated for the tower. 1 Ui F u • We are assuming only a Draft Submittal and a Final/ Permit Submittal for the design changes, with a 2-month design schedule. • For the updated Phase 3 drawings, we will denote the Phase 3 area. It is up to the contractor to determine where Phase 1 and Phase 2 work and what is left to be done to complete the work shown in the Phase 3 area. • No modifications to the specifications are anticipated. ° 1 • Redesign required due to unavailable or discontinued equipment and finish materials is not anticipated. • The existing flatwork on the north side of the courthouse is temporary and will be replaced during Phase 3 with the snowmelt design completed during Phase 2. The snowmelt boiler design and installation o will be completed via design build in a future project. It is assumed that snowmclt deign is complete and will require no additional review or coordination from the design team. We have included time to answer ° questions that arise during the installation of the snowmelt, but do not anticipate issuing any additional drawings or specifications. • It is our understanding the permit will be reopened, and we will not have to resubmit the phase 3 drawings. However, we have included time to resubmit the phase 3 drawings for permit as a supplemental service if 00 needed. • It is assumed the design changes will be submitted as a change order to 0 the existing permit and not a new submittal. • Per the IBC 2015 a roof diaphragm analysis is not required. If the City requires this, it can be provided for an additional fee. LU • A structural loading analysis may be required if we need to add insulation (additional weight) to the roof. This engineering effort couldLU vary greatly, so we have not included it at this time. We'd like to have a F conversation with the Building Department to determine if this will be a 0 required. u_ • Landscape Architecture review may not be required and can be provided on an hourly basis as needed. 00 Please review and let us know if you have any questions on the information 00 contained herein. We look forward to continuing to work with you on this amazing building's rehabilitation! Thank you! Further, if you consent to receive notices and disclosures exclusively in electronic format on the terms and conditions described above, please let us know by clicking the 'I agree' button below. By checking the 'I Agree' box, I confirm that: • I am establishing my intent to be bound to the transaction, and indicating that I am fully aware of the purpose for which the signature is being provided. • I can access and read this Electronic CONSENT TO ELECTRONIC RECEIPT OF ELECTRONIC RECORD AND SIGNATURE DISCLOSURES document; and • I can print on paper the disclosure or save or send the disclosure to a place where I can print it, for future reference and access; and • Until or unless I notify Pitkin County as described above, I consent to receive from exclusively through electronic means all notices, disclosures, authorizations, acknowledgments, and other documents that are required to be provided or made available to me by Pitkin County during the course of my relationship with you. Getting paper or electronic copies At any time, you may request from us a paper or electronic copy of any record provided or made available electronically to you by us. For such copies, as long as you are an authorized user of the DocuSign system you will have the ability to download and print any documents we send to you through your DocuSign user account for a limited period of time (usually 30 days) after such documents are first sent to you. After such time, if you wish for us to send you paper or electronic copies of any such documents from our office to you, you may be charged a per-page fee. You may request delivery of such paper or electronic copies from us by following the procedure described below. Withdrawing your consent If you are an authorized DocuSign Account holder, you can decide to receive notices and disclosures from us electronically, you may at any time change your mind and tell us that thereafter you want to receive required notices and disclosures only in paper format. Described below is the process for informing us of your decision to receive future notices and disclosure in paper format and also how to withdraw your consent to receive notices and disclosures electronically. Consequences of changing your mind If you elect to receive required notices and disclosures only in paper format, it will slow the speed at which we can complete certain steps in transactions with you and delivering services to you because we will need first to send the required notices or disclosures to you in paper format, and then wait until we receive back from you your acknowledgment of your receipt of such paper notices or disclosures. To indicate to us that you are changing your mind, you must withdraw your consent using the DocuSign'Withdraw Consent' form on the signing page of your DocuSign account. This will indicate to us that you have withdrawn your consent to receive required notices and disclosures electronically from us and you will no longer be able to use your DocuSign user account to receive required notices and consents electronically from us or to sign electronically documents from us. All notices and disclosures will be sent to you electronically Unless you tell us otherwise in accordance with the procedures described herein, we will provide electronically to you through your DocuSign user account all required notices, disclosures, authorizations, acknowledgments, and other documents that are required to be provided or made available to you during the course of our relationship with you. To reduce the chance of you inadvertently not receiving any notice or disclosure, we prefer to provide all of the required notices and disclosures to you by the same method and to the same address that you have given us. Thus, you can receive all the disclosures and notices electronically or in paper format through the paper mail delivery system. If you do not agree with this process, please let us know as described below.
