PUBLIC NOTICE FOR THE PROPOSED CRYSTAL OAKS METROPOLITAN
DISTRICT SERVICE PLAN
The Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado hereby give notice of a
public hearing at a Special Meeting to be held on November 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., or
as soon as business allows, in the BOCC Meeting Room, First Floor Administration and
Sheriff's Building, 530 East Main Street, Aspen, Colorado 81611. The hearing is for the
purpose of considering for approval or disapproval of a service plan for the proposed
Crystal Oaks Metropolitan District: See attached Exhibit "A" for the boundaries of the
proposed district.
Any person owning real property in the proposed district who requests that his/her
property be excluded from the District, prior to approval of the service plan, shall submit
such a request to the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners no later than ten
(10) days prior to the above noticed hearing at Pitkin County Administration, 530 East
Main Street, Ste. 302, Aspen, Colorado 81611 Attention: Jeanette Jones, Deputy
County Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. This publication notice
constitutes constructive notice to the residents and property owners within the proposed
special district who shall be "interested parties" at the hearing. All interested parties
shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the hearing in accordance with county
hearing procedures. A copy of the proposed service plan is available for inspection in
the Pitkin County Administration Office, 530 East Main Street, Suite 302, Aspen,
