Contractor's Obligations. Contractor shall provide the work as described below: We have prepared the following scope of work based on the information provided, services requested, and previous experience on recent bridge projects similar in nature. All background information included in this scope is based on our previous inspection of the bridge. I inspected this bridge in December of 2018 for OST. My findings were summarized in the memorandum titled Lambert Property Bridge Inspection dated January 10, 2019. One of the key findings was that there was a significant scour hole under the west abutment and a minor scour hole under the east abutment. These scour holes have reduced the bearing area under the abutments and could reduce the load carrying capacity of the structure. I recommended that the voids under the footing be filled to re-establish the bearing area and that both abutments be armored to prevent future scour. Our understanding is that OST would like to proceed with this work and ideally complete the in-water work before the spring runoff. This scope of work is for the development of construction documents for the scour repair. We would provide an 8.5"x11"plan set with up to five (5)pages describing the work with engineering details, photographs, and Specifications. An Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost(EOPC) would also be provided. 1 Master Service Agreement#: 002.20 Rev:2018-10-10 btf 2. Compensation and Expenses, Invoicing, Payment and Offset. The County shall compensate Contractor for its services in accordance with the Project Budget and Schedule set out in Paragraph 1 of this Task Order. It is expressly understood and agreed that in no event will the total compensation and reimbursement to be paid hereunder exceed the sum of seven thousand and five hundred dollars and zero cents ($7,500.00) for all services rendered. By Task Order or Task Order Amendment, the County and Contractor may reallocate the budget among project tasks if the total budget amount remains unchanged. Contractor shall invoice for the project monthly based on hours worked, with payment expected within thirty(30) days of invoice, but any payment by the County may be offset by any amount the Contractor owes the County for any reason. Any invoices not sent in the following manner may have payment delayed. All invoices for this Task Order shall reference Task Order 002.20 C-1 and Wildin OS Bridge Scour Repairs.Invoices shall be sent electronically in PDF format to kim.arensdorf@pitkincounty.com. 3.
