RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS (“BOCC”) OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, APPOINTING CITIZEN BOARD MEMBERS AND RATIFICATION OF THE BASALT LIBRARY BOARD TRUSTEE & TOWN OF SNOWMASS VILLAGE (TOSV) ALTERNATE APPOINTMENT
RESOLUTION NO. 060-2022
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 2.8.4 (Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter
(“HRC”), all matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may be acted upon by informal resolution, and; WHEREAS, The BOCC completed interviews for the Animal Shelter and Senior Council,
and;
WHEREAS, The BOCC discussed appointments at the July 26th Work Session and made the following appointments, and;

Michelle Fox - Aspen Animal Shelter Board April 1, 2025 Christine McKelvey - Senior Council April 1, 2026 WHEREAS, Markey Butler resigned her position as Town of Snowmass Village (TOSV)
alternate and the TOSV agreed to appoint Tom Fridstein to fill this vacancy and the Pitkin
County Board of County Commissioners to ratify this appointment, and; APPLICANTS & BOARD TERM EXPIRES Tom Fridstein - TOSV Board of Health Alternate April 1, 2026
WHEREAS, Commissioners Jacober and Child were part of the interview process for the Basalt Library Board Trustee Pitkin County vacancy and agreed to appoint Eric Pelander and asked the BOCC to ratify this appointment, and;
APPLICANT & BOARD TERM EXPIRES Eric Pelander - Basalt Library Board (Pitkin) April 1, 2025 WHEREAS, The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County
to approve this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado that it hereby adopts a Resolution to appoint Citizen Board members and Ratification of the Basalt Library Board Trustee and Town of Snowmass Village Board of Health alternate appointment and authorizes the Chair to sign the Resolution and execute any other associated documents necessary to complete this matter.
