APPOINTING CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR; COMMISSIONER REPRESENTATIVES TO
VARIOUS BOARDS, COMMITTEES AND AUTHORITIES
RESOLUTION NO. 001-2023
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 2.8.4 (Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter (“HRC”), all matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may be acted upon by informal
resolution.
WHEREAS, The Pitkin County Commissioners serve on various Boards, Committees, and Authorities concerned with significant local issues and activities. At their work sessions on January 3rd the Board of County Commissioners discussed these various committees and now wish to make the following appointments including Board Chair and Vice-Chair.
WHEREAS, The BOCC finds that it is in the best interest of the citizens of Pitkin County to approve this
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado that it approves Appointing Chair and Vice-Chair; Commissioner Representatives to Various Boards, Committees and Authorities and authorizes the Chair to sign on behalf of the county. These appointments are to be effective immediately and will remain in effect for the balance of 2023 unless it is necessary to change such appointments at a later time, which will be done by subsequent Resolution.
