COUNTY, COLORADO, APPROVING A GMQS EXEMPTION FOR COMMERCIAL
DEVELOPMENT WITH NEGLIGIBLE GROWTH IMPACTS AND A MINOR
AMENDMENT TO THE AIRPORT MASTER PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A
PERMANENT HOUSING STRUCTURE FOR SCREENING EQUIPMENT

RECITALS
1. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) ("Applicant"), has applied to the Board o£
County Commissioners of Pitkin County, ("BOCC"), pursuant to Section 3-150-150 and 3-
200-080 of the Pitkin County Land Use Code ("Code"), to locate a 2020 sq. ft. permanent
housing structure for screening equipment.
2. The property is zoned Public.
3. The BOCC generally finds that the request for the development of a permanent housing
structure for screening equipment does not create the need for additional employees and is
consistent with the requirements of the Land Use Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Pitkin County Board of County
Commissioners that it does hereby approve the GMQS Exemption for Commercial Development
with Negligible Growth Impacts and a Minor Amendment to the Airport Master Plan to develop
a 2020 sq. ft. permanent structure for screening equipment.
The Applicant shall adhere to all material representations made during the application
process.
