staff, and invited community members and organizations to discuss an work through issues the County is facing, but not
ready to take official action on at a regular board meeting. Work sessions are open to the public (with exception of
executive session). However, public input is typically not taken during a work session unless specifically asked for by the
Board.

CALL TO ORDER: Commissioner Francie Jacober called the special meeting of the Board of
County Commissioners sitting as the Board of Social Services to order.
COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Francie Jacober, Steve Child, Patti
Clapper, Greg Poschman, and Kelly McNicholas Kury.
COMMISSION MEMBERS ABSENT: None.
HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES QUARTERLY UPDATE WITH THE BOARD OF
SOCIAL SERVICES (Budget/Payroll Reports)
Staff Person: Sam Landercasper, Interim Director of Health and Human Services, and Stuart
Fox, Finance Analyst.
ACTION:
Second Quarter Budget Expenditures:
Action: Commissioner Jacober moved to approve the second quarter budget
expenditures. Commissioner Poschman seconded the motion. Motion passed with five
yea votes.

Second Quarter Payroll Expenditures:
Action: Commissioner Child moved approval of the second quarter payroll
expenditures. Commissioner McNicholas Kury seconded the motion. Motion passed
with five yea votes.
Departmental Updates
Program, Administration, and Economic Assistance Updates
Staff Persons: Samuel Landercasper, Matt McGaugh, Stuart Fox
ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Poschman moved to adjourn as the Board of Social
Services. Commissioner McNicholas Kury seconded the motion. Motion passed with five yea
votes.
