Savage Excavation installed the system. The well was drilled to the west of the residence. All required setbacks were verified. The installation included a 1500-gallon concrete septic tank, followed by a 1500-gallon, two-compartment septic tank with an Orenco® Biotube pump vault and duplexing Orenco® PF3005 pumps. There is an effluent filter in the second compartment of the second septic tank. This filter must be cleaned annually, or as needed. Valley Precast, Inc. performed start-up of the Orenco® pumps. The pump control panel is located on a retaining wall on the south side of the residence, within line of sight of the septic tanks. At the time of our November 8, 2018 inspection we tested the pumps and alarm and found them to be working properly. Effluent is pressure dosed through a 1.25-inch diameter pump line to an Orenco® Model V6605A Automatic Distributing Valve (ADV), placed at high point. We observed the ADV cycling during our November 8, 2018 inspection. The ADV distributes effluent to five gravelless chamber beds, each with two rows of 12 ‘Quick 4’ Infiltrator® chambers. Zip ties were used to suspend 1.25-inch laterals to the underside of the chambers. The 1.25-inch laterals have 1/8-inch orifice holes facing up (with the last hole facing down for drainage), 2-feet on center. Each lateral ends in a 90 degree elbow facing up with a ball valve for flushing in a valve box, accessible from grade. The OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes are made to the OWTS in the future. Any additional OWTS construction must be according to the county regulations. LIMITS: Observations are limited to components that are visible at the time of the inspection. The installer must have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working. The quality of the installation is dependent of the expertise of the installer, soil type, and weather conditions. Please call with questions.
