PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, APPOINTING CITIZEN BOARD MEMBERS
AND RATIFYING A PITKIN COUNTY TRUSTEE APPOINTMENT TO THE
BASALT LIBRARY BOARD
RESOLUTION NO. 019-2024
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 2.8.4 (Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter
(“HRC”), all matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may
be acted upon by informal resolution, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners interviewed the following citizens for
consideration of appointment to various boards for 2023 renewals and new appointments,
and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners agree to the ratify the appointment of
Susan (Suzi) Jenkins to the Basalt Library Board as a Pitkin County Trustee, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners agreed to appoint all 2024 renewing
members and new applicants at the April 2, 2024 Work Session (summary attached), and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners wishes to make the following
appointments to the following boards;

WHEREAS,The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County
to approve this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin
County, Colorado that it hereby adopts a Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners
(“BOCC”) of Pitkin County, Colorado, Appointing Citizen Board Members and Ratifying a
Pitkin County Trustee Appointment to the Basalt Library Board and authorizes the Chair to
sign the Resolution and execute any other associated documents necessary to complete this
matter.
