A RESOLUTION oF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMI�IISSIONERS OF PITKItS COUNTY� COIARADO,
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE OPEN SPACE/TRAILS
BOARD OF TRUSTEES

WHEREAS, Article XIII of the Home Rule Charter authorizes '
the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County to create an E�
" Open Space/Trails Board of Trustees; and t '•
- 5 WFiEi2EAS, the Home Rule Charter specifies that five 2rustees
�' shall be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, one of �
whom shall reside in each Commissioner District; and ' '

WHEREAS, each Trustee shall hold no other County or
_ •:�''`Y.� municipal office, shall not be employed by a municipality or
;:;'� county and shall serve without pay; and

�„'� WHEREAS, each Trustee shall be appointed for a term of five .
. (5 years), staggered so that one term expires each year, so that
' initial appointments shall be for five, Eour, three, two and one
' year, respectively.

'� functions and purpose of the Open 5pace Board of Trustees,
1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
