- 1. Volunteer Citizen Boards are established per the Home Ruie Charter and State t:�'
Statutes. {7. '
� 2. Pitkin County has a representative on the Basalt Library Board. The term of the
Pitkin County representative has expired. -
3. The Basalt Library has advertised for volunteers to fill this vacancy and reviewed •
the applications received. The Basalt Library Board recommends and requests that the Board of �
County Commissioners approve the appointrnent of Patricia Fender to the vacant Pitkin County �
seat on the Library Board.
NOW TFIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissiouers of
Pitkin County,Colorado that Patricia Fender be appointed as the Pitkin County representative to d
the Basalt Library Board for a term through March 1,2001. y
