COUNTY, COLORADO, RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF CHRISTI BLISH (PITKIN
COUNTY TRUSTEE) TO THE BASALT REGIONAL LIBRARI BOARD
RESOLUTION NO. DPI"1 -2018
RECITALS:
1 Pursuant to Section 2.8.4 (Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter("HRC-1, all
matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may he acted upon by
informal resolution
2. Appointments to the Basalt Library Board must be ratified by the Pitkin County Board of
County Commissioners.
3 On April 5. 2018 an interview was conducted and the interview team agreed to appoint Christi
Blish to fill the Pitkin County vacancy.
4 This appointment is effective as of April 11, 2018. fhe BOC(' rinds that it is in the best
interests of the citizens of Pitkin County to approe this Resolution.

NOW, Ti IEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County.
Colorado that it ratifies the appointment of Christi Blish (Pitkin County Trustee) to the Basalt Regional
Library Board and authorizes the Chair to sign on behalf of the county.
