PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO,APPOINTING CITIZEN BOARD MEMBERS
RESOLUTION NO. d 33 -2018
RECITALS:
1 Pursuant to Section 2.8 4 (Actions) of the Pitkm County Home Rule Charter("HRC"), all
matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may be acted
upon by informal resolution.
2. Volunteer Citizen Boards are established per the Home Rule Charter and State Statute.
3 The Board of County Commissioners wishes to make the following appointment to the
following board
4. In order to stagger terms for the Board of Health, two appointments will be five year
terms (Dr. Tom Kurt and Christina King) and two appointments will be three year terms
(Brent Miller and Dr. Christina Miller).
5. These appointments are effective as of this date May 9, 2018
6. The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County to approve
this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin
County, Colorado that it approves a resolution appointing citizen board members and authorizes
the Chair to sign on behalf of the county.
