PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, APPOINTING CITIZEN BOARD MEMBERS
RESOLUTION NO. 050-2021
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 2.8.4 (Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter
("HRC"), all matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may
be acted upon by informal resolution, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners completed interviews for the Planning
& Zoning Board as well as the Citizen Grant Review Committee, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners discussed and agreed on these
appointments at the July 20, 2021 Work Session, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners wishes to make the following
appointments to the following boards;
APPLICANTS & BOARD
Ivan Cassar - Planning & Zoning Board
Kiara Gonzalez - Citizen Grant Review Committee (Alt.)
Elizabeth (Eliza) Marolt - Citizen Grant Review Committee

WHEREAS, The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County
to approve this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado that it hereby adopts a Resolution of the Board of County
Commissioners ("BOCC") of Pitkin County, Colorado, Appointing Citizen Board Members
and authorizes the Chair to sign the Resolution and execute any other associated documents
necessary to complete this matter.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED ON THE 28TH DAY OF JULY 2021.
