COUNTY, COLORADO,AMENDING RESOLUTION 005-2022 APPOINTING CITIZEN
BOARD MEMBERS
RESOLUTION NO.009-2022
RECITALS
WHEREAS,Pursuant to Section 2.8.4(Actions)of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter("HRC"),
all matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may be acted upon by
informal resolution, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners completed interviews for the Aspen Airport
Advisory Board on November 12,2021,and;
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners discussed and agreed on these appointments at
the December 7,2021 Work Session,and;
WHEREAS,Revisions were made to this Resolution to include terms for the ex-officio members
and bylaws were also amended on January 12, 2022; and
WHEREAS,Andrew Doremus resigned from the Board,Meg Haynes is being appointed to a
regular position and Rich Burkley will be appointed to a two year term as an alternate; and
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners wishes to appoint Michael Solondz as an
alternate for a 1 year term to complete the board; and
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners wishes to make the following appointment to the
Airport Advisory Board;

WHEREAS, The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County to
approve this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin
County,Colorado that it hereby adopts a Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners
("BOCC")of Pitkin County, Colorado,Appointing Citizen Board Members and authorizes the
Chair to sign the Resolution and execute any other associated documents necessary to complete this
matter.
INTRODUCED,READ AND ADOPTED ON THE 9TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 2022.
