PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, APPOINTING CITIZEN BOARD MEMBERS
RESOLUTION NO. 009-2024
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 2.8.4 (Actions) of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter
(“HRC”), all matters not required to be acted upon by ordinance or formal resolution may
be acted upon by informal resolution, and;
WHEREAS, The BoCC agreed at their January 30, 2024 work session to move Michael
Solondz from alternate to regular on the Airport Advisory Board due to Rick Heede’s
resignation, and;
WHEREAS, The BoCC agreed to appoint Sam Cox to the Election Commission to fill a
regular vacancy at their February 14, 2024 meeting, and;
WHEREAS, The BoCC agreed at their February 27, 2024 work session to appoint new
applicant, Taylor Logsdon, to the Redstone Historic Preservation Committee as a regular
member,

WHEREAS,The BOCC finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of Pitkin County
to approve this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin
County, Colorado that it hereby adopts a Resolution to appoint Citizen Board members and
authorizes the Chair to sign the Resolution and execute any other associated documents
necessary to complete this matter.
