HEALTHY RIVERS AND STREAMS CITIZENS ADVISORY BOARD Regular Meeting April 26, 2021 Via zoom River Board members present: Bill Jochems, Lisa Tasker, Andre Wille, Chuck Ogilby, Wendy Huber, Chris Lemons

Others present: Lisa MacDonald, John Ely, Will Roush, Emily Key _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Addition to agenda – Mr. Ogilby asked for time at the end of the meeting to discuss recent improvements at Snowmass Water and Sanitation plant.
Continued discussion of Wilderness Workshop’s Grant Application for Crystal River Wild and Scenic Designation Support Discussions continued from the April 15, 2021 meeting where Wilderness Workshop presented its grant application for Crystal River Wild and Scenic Designation Support. Deliverables and updates to the Board will be drafted and distributed to the Board and discussed with the BOCC.
Ms. Huber moved to approve the grant request. Ms. Tasker seconded the motion. The motion passed 6/0. Mr. Obilby discussed the recent improvements at the Snowmass Water and Sanitation District’s plant and is interested in a site visit or having Mr. Kit Hamby, the District Manager attend a future board meeting. Of particular interest is the reduction of nutrient pollution in lakes, rivers and streams and how that’s been achieved. Staff will reach out to Mr. Hamby about attending an upcoming meeting. The Board adjourned at approximately 4:50pm.
