Fryingpan River Winter Flows and Water Leasing Funding Request

The River Board directed staff to set a special meeting for discussion regarding the Fryinpan River Winter
Flows and Water Leasing Funding Request out of concerns regarding the 5-year funding commitment. This
was by both the cost and the relative proportionality of contributions from partners and financial
beneficiaries of the effort.
Mr. Wille joined at 6:20 pm.
Mr. Jochems joined the meeting and had technical issues and rejoined at approximately 6:25pm.
Ms. Huber moved to recommend funding $50,000 toward the water lease program to address anchor ice on the Fryinpan
River on an annualized basis for the winter flows with the expectation the Board will hear from RFC again next year.
Chairman Lemons seconded the motion. The motion passed 7/0.
The meeting adjourned at approx. 6:34 pm
