Meeting Minutes
Element Hotel – Basalt, CO
April 12, 2018 – 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
River Board members present: Bill Jochems, Lisa Tasker, Elle Taylor, Kate Hudson, Andre Wille, Dave Nixa,
Ken Neubecker
River Board members absent:
Others present: Lisa MacDonald, John Ely, Laura Makar

Chairman Jochemns moved to enter into executive session pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402 (4)(b) to discuss stream protection
strategies. Ms. Hudson seconded the motion. The motion passed 7/0.
The Board discussed the funding request from Water Education Colorado for Colorado’s snowtel site visit, leadership
day program and headwaters magazine support.
Ms. Tasker move to approve and recommend the funding request of $5,000 for the Water Education. . Mr. Nixa seconded
the motion. The motion passed 7/0.
Adjourn: The Board adjourned at approximately 4:00 p.m.
