HomeMy WebLinkAboutbocc.res.135.1999RESOLUTION OF THE PITKIN COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS REGARDING A MINOR AMENDMENT TO THE ASPEN MOUNTAIN CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT PLAN SPECIFICALLY TO ALLOW EARLY DELIVERIES OF CONCRETE Resolution No. 99-14,5' RECITALS 1. The BOCC approved the Aspen Mountain Construction Management Plan on March 30,1999; 2. Page 24 of the Aspen Mountain Construction Management Plan approved 10 exception days to the normal traffic schedule outlined for the use of Little Annie Road; Those exception days allowed for deliveries to occur at 8:00 a.m. rather than 9:00 a.m.; The ASC proposes to amend this provision for 3 specific days in order to allow traffic to begin accessing Little Annie Road at 6:15 a.m. 3. The request before the BOCC is to allow for 3 deliveries of concrete to begin accessing the Little Annie Road at 6:15 a.m. The specific dates requested are: July 16,1999 and two other dates to be determined. The ASC will make these dates known to the residents along Little Annie Road and other affected landowners as soon as possible. The ASC will also inform the Pitkin County Community Development office of these dates as soon as possible. 4. The BOCC recognizes that traffic in the upper valley is particularly difficult this season due to the roundabout construction. The BOCC acknowledges that the adequate delivery of concrete materials from the source in Carbondale would be extremely difficult if this request were not granted. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC does hereby approve three Early deliveries of concrete to the sundeck project with the following conditions: 1. The three early deliveries are counted as 3 of the 10 exception dates allowed pursuant to page 24 of the Aspen Mountain Construction Management Plan; 2. Trucks shall not begin up Little Annie Road earlier than : • a.m. APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON THE (3 DAY 0 ,1999. RESOLUTION NO. 99- JJ$' PAGE 2 ATTEST: •/ ndee R.
