BOCC. Continued support and consideration of our board s
recommendations.
Do you anticipate having
conflicts that might prohibit
I will have occasional conflicts with my work schedule this
winter, possible conflicts with travel in the summer, but these

Bringing a new staff person onboard to maximize our
productivity

What have been the three
biggest challenges for the
board while serving this
term?
1. Meeting and effectively communicating during the COVID
pandemic. Zoom meetings have worked pretty well, but im
afraid we are missing some of the sense of team, and deeper
communication that in person meeting provides.
2. Moving forward with some of our strategic plans. In
particular, our PR plans have been hampered by the pandemic.
However, we are well poised to fully implement this plan post
pandemic. Also, many good parts of the plan are currently
being implemented despite the pandemic.
Do you have any suggestions
that would make this board
more effective?
Post pandemic, staff and board need to get together for some
quality time on the river to re establish why we are doing this
work. This should transcend the typical retreat where we are
only focused on goals and official business. We need continued
work on our shared vision as we move forward.
