HomeMy WebLinkAboutchild.welfare.services.IGASECOND READING AND PUBLIC HEARING ON DRAFT RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO ADOPTING (SOCIAL SERVICES) INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH EAGLE, GARFIELD AND SUMMIT COUNTIES Department oI Social Services AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY REGULAR SESSION DATE: JULY 14, 2004 AGENDA ITEM TITLE: IGA FOR CHILD WELFARE SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH CORE SERVICES STAFF RESPONSIBLE: KATE JANGULA Second Reading The Counties of Pitkin, Eagle, Garfield and Summit wish to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement for the purpose of joint cooperation for Child Welfare Substance Abuse and Mental Health Core Services. Garfield County is currently the fiscal agent for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Core Services. This IGA ~vill allow Garfield County to contract with providers for these' services on behalf of all the counties. Our current Core Services plan, whioh was approved by the BOCC in April, reflects these services. RECOMMENDED BOCC ACTION: Approve the IGA 100 Elk Run Drive.
