MENTAL HEALTH CORE SERVICES

Second Reading
The Counties of Pitkin, Eagle, Garfield and Summit wish to enter into an
Intergovernmental Agreement for the purpose of joint cooperation for Child Welfare
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Core Services.
Garfield County is currently the fiscal agent for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Core Services. This IGA ~vill allow Garfield County to contract with providers for these'
services on behalf of all the counties.
Our current Core Services plan, whioh was approved by the BOCC in April, reflects these
services.
RECOMMENDED BOCC ACTION: Approve the IGA
